So silly I actually presented this to the Commander as a team building exercise. Also for the challenge and judging of the eye and Sunday brunch. Always made my heart happy he said ok if we call it land nav on thr training schedule. Have to admit is was fun and unique. But we did team build the unit that hunts eggs together stays together!

They allowed themselves to go to an illegal war...their country never declared war on anyone. It was not their fight and they did not belong there. They all should have known better. They did their part to keep an American tragedy going for almost 10 years. Vietnam did nothing but bring pain and loss to the US in many different ways. Instead of getting "recognition" maybe they should simply be glad they survived a bullet from the people they wrongly tried to kill. They're not heroes...they're survivors. They got a 2nd chance at life.

We used to sing this song and dance at the burning ghats in Poona when someone from the ashram died. It was SO INTENSE!!! Watching someone burn while dancing and singing ecstatically "Walk into the holy fire, Step into the holy flame... ooh, Hallelujah!!!! Just AMAZING!!!

One of his victims has a chapter in the Big Book, another was written into his Will; yet Wilson has the gall to write (in a female voice) how women should support & forgive their wayward alcoholic men in the chapter, “To Wives.” It’s laughable and the moral equivalent of how the Catholic Church has ignored pedophilia for eons. No wonder Bill was begging for booze on his deathbed. Honest, open and willing... I think not. Kudos to women who seek other options.

I'm proud of you! My dad was 501 PIRA/101st in WW 2 and after being blessed to attend some of their reunions, it is nice to know that y'all are meeting with each other. I wouldn't know as much about my dad had it not been for his fellow troopers. They treated me like family. God Bless y'all and thank you for your sacrifice.

My Dad said PT was non-existent at his mechanized base in Germany. Some gung ho airborne captain who came through tried getting everyone-even the old man and senior NCO's involved. His colonel put a stop to it. Like my Dad said if the Soviets ever did really try anything the best we would have been able to do is slow them down a little, not enough to stop them. He said during basic they did calisthenics they called 'the daily dozen'.

This video was a production of the National Guard Bureau to recruit Army Medical Department professionals into the National Guard. Due to it's professionalism, the 143d Evacuation Hospital located in Los Alamitos, CA was selected to be the subject. All the "actors" are actual members of the unit, and the field hospital pictured is the unit as it deploys to the field. The "Training Section of the 80's" coordinated all the actors, scenes, and facilities appearing in this video.
